Formerly of Laburnum Crescent, Allestree, died peacefully on St. George's Day, April 23rd 2002 aged 84, at Wyndley Grange Nursing Home in Sutton Coldfield.Ken, beloved father and grandfather, is sadly missed by John and Sandra, Anthony and Lynette and Jonathon and Rosalind, together with many neighbours, friends and former colleagues from the Burma Star Association, the Sherwood Foresters, Civil Aid, Meals-on-Wheels, S.S.A.F.A and Derby College of Further Education.Funeral service at St. Edmund's Church, Allestree on Wednesday May 8th at 11.30am followed by committal at Markeaton Crematorium at 12.15pm.
